Can we please get some consistent file names?

Call me crazy, but I am sick of animes with random filenames that just confuse people. Why are group names in square brackets? Why are random junk in square brackets? Why is it that when we switch anime groups, our directory becomes seemingly random?

My proposal? Group names at the end and get rid of CRC checksums.

An example could be

One_Outs.26.HDTV.Xvid-B2E.avi

Similar to the scene, I know. But it works. Why do we need CRC’s in the filenames when torrents are hash checked, and distro bots on IRC give you CRC sums via xdcc info

Do we really need the resolution in the filename?

But you know the worst thing? When a group changes the format of their filename.

So~

like you guys and girls are bored of waiting so are we… our TL quit or is just too busy – we can’t get information about that.. soooooo in the long wait we decided to get another translator… and we did but he is busy also so im expecting stuff in the following 5-6 days.

Once we get the stuff its gonna be easy.. probably or probably not I don’t even know

Anyway the 2 eps are pre encoded so we just need to slap on the subs when they are done…

oh and i forgot to tell ya… we don’t really read the comments anymore so if you need to tell us something you have to pop over at our IRC chan… you don’t know how to used IRC ? well thats too bad…

that’s not all but im just gonna leave it… tired… sleepy

[B2E].One_Outs.23.x264.Collectors.Edition.[69BFABD6].mkv is the RIGHT file the other one was just a premade torrent that didn’t have the proper naming.

As for the stuff released on Nyaa Torrents yesterday – that was a leaked release candidate which had alot of problems.

I just got news that our translators are flying back from japan so they should be online in a day or so and we can start fixing up ep 23, 24 and 25. In between the other stuff older episodes will be revised one by one till we fix all – they will fit 2 DVD5 disks so get some fancy ones and get ready to frame them xD.
No news for a second season yet but like most underrated stuff it might not happen…
As for the group doing other projects – we will see about that one after one outs is done.

If you haven’t heard, we are taking a break until the end of easter. This means we should be back in action in a little over a week. Everyone has been busy… two staff members were having fun in Japan (for real), our mascot is also in Japan, and the rest all have tests and exams and lots of projects.

PS: BTW, wheres Ayako’s minimike?

We are in big need of a second editor to speed things up – the job is for redoing older eps and probably helping out on the new ones and also for another project aswell. The candidate needs to be Experienced (showing proof) – to work with IRC and to have time to deal with this. To apply pm Dj|DarkNeZz in our IRC channel.

due to the massive increase of christmas parties around christmas time (and heavy snow in north america), im anticipating a delay on oo10 by approximately 24hrs. this means the eta on ep 10 is now 36 hours.

It’s been over a week since we’ve updated this blog, so just thought we’d let you know how we were going. Episode 5 is on it’s way, ETA less than 12 hours from this post (we’re just waiting till we can all get online). Episode 6 is also in the works.
I really gotta say, episode 5 and onwards seems to be where the story really kicks off.

ALSO, with our next release, we will be moving to Rizon from irchighway. I hope many of you will see this as convenience rather than the opposite of a convenience. The channels all set up, but for now, we’re “officially” on irchighway.

Oh yeah, I also have an exam in a few hours, which is one of the reasons for the <12 hour wait.
